Has Game of Thrones got you in the mood for wearing something regal? Something befit for a queen? Enter Hobbs’ Palace Collection: a hand-painted capsule collection recreating prints drawn directly from the archives of England’s most prestigious palaces. If you’re not familiar with Hobbs that may be because the UK retailer has just expanded their reach stateside – opening a store in Greenwich, Connecticut just a few months ago, with an additional presence at shop-in-shops across select Bloomingdale’s locations. The British brand brings its unique perspective on tailored, elegant pieces, filling a void in the ever-casual US marketplace. For the Palace collection in particular, expect to see printed dresses and suiting separates in elaborate gemstone and baroque prints, sourced from six magnificent palaces, including the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace. The Hobbs London Palace Collection is an award-winning range created in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that cares for these locations. A part of the proceeds from the sales will go to the preservation of these extraordinary pieces of history.
